Performing arts
Our vision…
To develop and active appreciation of performing arts where all pupils develop their abilities to be independent enquirers, creative thinkers, team workers, effective participators and reflective learners through experiencing different roles and responsibilities in lessons across drama, music and physical education.
To give all pupils in every lesson the opportunity to contribute to, share within, feedback on and be a member of a positive learning experience which allows all to be creative and express themselves while learning relevant new skills which they can use within and beyond the lesson.
We want students to experience a wide variety of activities that allows them to be competent performers (skilful, resilient, fit and healthy, team player, participant); strategic thinkers (tactical decision maker and creator, problem solver); leaders (organisers, officials, role models, effective communicators, inclusive); analysts (observer and evaluator).
