Students in year nine have been invited by Nottinghamshire Search and Rescue to design the container for throw lines that will be installed in facilities along the River Trent. This is a vital project which will see safety along the river increased.

Mr Phillips, headteacher, said "This is a great opportunity for design students to make a significant contribution to safety along the river and allows them to explore designing from the initial brief to the finished result."
