GCSE Pod
We have been using GCSE Pod for some time now in science and after a really positive response from students, we are excited to announce that we have extended the subscription to GCSEPod for year 10 and 11 students across all subjects. Students can access resources and activities from across the full range of GCSE subjects that they are studying.
GCSEPod is a video streaming platform that uses short clips and ‘check and challenge’ revision quizzes which are carefully chosen and made by professionals to help pupils revise. Each clip has narration, subtitles and symbols and there is the option to download materials to use off-line.
The site has a proven record of success, as regular users of GCSEpod achieve, on average, one grade higher per subject than non-users.
To find out more, and to see how you can support your child in making the most of GCSEPod, please follow this link.
Of course, using GCSEpod is just one method of revision which should be part of a wide range of different revision strategies. If you would like more guidance on how you can support your child with revision, please follow this link.
Further cross country success!

To all borrowers of school library books
If you have any books at home that have been borrowed from the school library and have the letters ELS printed on a yellow sticker at the bottom of the spine of the book, please return it to the school library by Thursday 29th February.
Breakfast club
A reminder that our new breakfast club started this week in the small canteen. Running from 8:00am to 8:30am, our breakfast club is here to ensure that every student starts their day off right! Access is via the main reception.
