We have finished this productive (but short) first week back with the opportunity for new students to explore the school and for everyone to start their academic courses.
Welcome to the school year 2022-23
I hope that you have all had a wonderful summer and that our students are ready for a successful year. This is a reminder of some of the procedures and changes that we have in place for this year.
This week has been a week of welcoming our new students who will join us in year seven in September. On Wednesday evening we also met with their parents and have had a wonderful three days!
A later update for the blog this week, but that's because we have not had time to pause for breath! Year five taster day, year twelve induction days, sports day, a welcome event for Hong Kong families, whilst we also get ready for activities week!
This week we are launching our enhancement programme for 2022-23. Next week will be the final week of formal education for our year eleven students. After their last cohort examination we will be taking photographs of tutor groups and going though the process of shirt signing.
This week was the start of the formal examinations, further developments planned for sixth form provision and transition plans discussed with our family of schools.
This morning we gathered with the whole of year eleven as a lead up to the first formal examination on Monday. It was a real pleasure to be with them and we wish all of our students the best for the examinations starting next week.
