I informed parents earlier in the week that I would update you on what actions the school would be undertaking as a result of the government's announcement regarding masks.
This week was our first full week back with year eleven parents' evening and a second visit from the school aged immunisation service for another round of COVID vaccinations.
First, a massive thank you for all of the contributions to our foodbank. We have been proud to be part of the Mayor of Broxtowe's appeal and our food items are on their way to support families at Christmas.
We are delighted that the school has raised £900 during today through a combination of donations, cake sales and penalty shoot outs. It is so good to see so many smiles and to also be raising money for such an important cause.
On Thursday of this week, we held a two minute silence across the school to mark Remembrance Day. The quiet and stillness of the school offered everyone the opportunity to reflect and recognise the loss of millions of lives to conflict.
On Monday we welcomed our students back and they are to be congratulated again for the calm, hard-working and positive attitude that they continue to show.
