A music club has been running all year in the music dept where we have divided activities up so that students can do some music technology, sing and improve their confidence and for some, it really is just all about the song writing.

In early summer our regular students decided that they would like to celebrate the idea of identity and being able to feel happy, free and confident about who you are regardless of gender, sexual orientation, disability, hidden illness, SEN within school and all those things that often young people can feel that they are judged for. So they decided to write about it!

It has been a great journey for the students on the video and for the staff involved. The lyrics of the track are full of wisdom for students where the average age is only twelve to thirteen.
