On Tuesday, Sienna Carver, from Nottinghamshire Wildlife Trust came in to school to say thank you for the fund raising that the school had undertaken before Christmas for the Attenborough lifeline appeal.

Mr Phillips said,"We are really pleased that we have been able to make a contribution to try to safeguard the nature reserve for future generations. It is so important to so many people in the local community."
