18th October 2019

This final week before half-term has again been busy.

At the start of the week, our year eleven GCSE drama students prepared and presented their group performances. It was good to see our young people preparing in a confident and mature manner work that was challenging and imaginative.

On the same day we had visiting performers in school, presenting to our year nine students a performance based on relationships and the company were very complimentary about the reception given to them by our students.

Our leadership team have been attending primary parents evenings this week and we have been pleased with the positive messages we are getting about the transition process for students moving to Chilwell and the high expectations we have.

Finally, we had an unexpected visitor yesterday when a young stag appeared on our grounds! It had found its way there after travelling through Beeston the night before but it was an opportunity for students to see a deer in close proximity.
