With many year elevens finishing their examinations today, it has also been a busy week for other year groups, with year sevens having their first experience of examinations in the sports hall.

In addition, we were pleased to attend the opening of the Chilwell Manor golf practice area with PE staff and students in year nine. We are keen to encourage our students to make the most of the facilities in the local area and it was good to develop our partnership with the golf club further.

Our governing body curriculum committee met on Wednesday to review the latest developments in our provision. They were pleased to read a letter from the authority praising the safeguarding arrangements at the school and also to see the impact of the work of our pastoral team in developing students' commitment to good attendance and learning.
