Parents will have received a letter this week from our chair of governors confirming the appointment of Sarah Baxter-Williams as the head teacher of Chilwell School from January 2025. I am delighted that she will take up this post. Whilst I will miss the busy environment after I retire, Ms Baxter-Williams knows every aspect of the school and will be an excellent leader to take the school into the future. I congratulate her and am excited for the new developments that will take place under her headship.

Mental health workshop

Please see the attached poster for a workshop to support parents on issues of mental health and children's well-being. It is at school on Tuesday 8th October from 4pm to 5pm, run by the Mental Health Support Team and HK Notts.
