13th September 2024

We held welcome evenings for years seven to eleven this week. Our welcome evening for sixth form will be on Tuesday 17th September.

Slides from the welcome evenings can be found in our latest news items. Thank you to the families that joined us. We are looking forward to a great year.

Congratulations to Brooke!

We welcomed the ambulance service in on Thursday morning for a presentation of a bravery certificate to Brooke. We have had remarkable examples of our students helping and supporting others and we were delighted for Brooke and her family. Look out for the feature on BBC East Midlands.

Fundraising run

One of our ex-students, Daniel Ferguson, is running the Loch Ness marathon to raise funds for Club Rafiki in Rwanda. We wish him the best and his fundraising information can be found attached.

Important Notice: Defibrillator Unavailable
Please be advised that our defibrillator for general public use has been recalled and will be unavailable for approximately two weeks.

The local authority is actively working to correct the issue and will be reissuing devices as soon as possible.

In the meantime, please use https://www.defibfinder.uk/  to find the nearest available defib. In case of emergencies, always dial emergency services immediately.
