6th October 2023

With open evening this week, sixth form open evening in two weeks and a successful football game on Thursday, there have been lots of opportunities for families to join us on site and see what happens on a daily basis at Chilwell School.

Field trips
Geography students have been out on field trips over the past few weeks. We plan these trips to ensure students are able to get field data to inform their studies. Mr Skelton and the team had a number of successful trips with both GCSE and A level students.

Careers assembly
On Thursday year nine were treated to a careers assembly with Enact Solutions, promoting careers within the NHS. We are currently finalising arrangements for post sixteen taster day for our year elevens on 19th October, where there will be a combination of A level taster lessons and visits to local colleges. For any advice on careers, please see our careers section of the website.
