I am delighted to be able to share our new website with you. It will be an opportunity not only to be able to ensure parents and visitors have access to information about the school, but is also a means of giving you information about all the developments that have taken place since the beginning of the year.

The change in the website reflects many of the changes that have taken place at Chilwell. Since September we have seen a commitment from students to achieve their best, supported by a wide range of initiatives to ensure that the school has clear support structures and high expectations of behaviour, attitude and effort.

Parents will already be aware of the regular communication through our Weduc app and the more recent developments in creating greater control over access to information about your child's progress. This week we are developing this further so that parents can see up to date achievements or concerns.

We have also developed our behaviour support team to ensure that there is a rigorous expectation of excellent behaviour from all students. Our team is able to create a climate of positive and purposeful learning and make swift interventions to ensure that action is taken where behaviour falls below the acceptable. I am really pleased that we have already seen the significant impact on the learning environment and as a result our students can learn in classrooms where the focus is upon success.
