We now look forward to next Thursday and the sixth form open evening. This will give students and parents the opportunity to discuss the range of courses and options with faculty leaders before going on to have taster lessons and find out more about the opportunities available in our sixth form.

We have featured in a number of news items this week as our school has faced some of the tactics used by people who wish to put pressure on the school over the vaccination programme. This is unfortunately a pattern that has been happening across the country but please be assured that we have a range of measures in place so that the education of your children is not affected and that we can continue to provide a stable environment in which to learn.

We have been asking parents to use the Nottinghamshire immunisation service portal to give consent where appropriate and we will give further updates to parents when we can confirm the date of the vaccination roll-out at Chilwell.

In the next couple of weeks we will have an opportunity for parents of our new year seven students to meet with tutors for an update on how students have settled in. Further information on this will be issued next week.
